As soon as the budget session started, the demand for special state status for Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha has started rising. JDU of Bihar, YSR Congress of Andhra and Biju Janata Dal of Odisha raised this demand in the all party meeting on Sunday. At the same time, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that it is very strange that TDP is silent on this issue.

The demand for special state status for Bihar was raised not only by NDA allies JDU and LJP (Ram Vilas) but also by RJD.
